Asterisk: Unable to re-open DSP device /dev/dsp: No such file or directory

Asterisk console repeatedly logs:

chan_oss.c:488 setformat: Unable to re-open DSP device /dev/dsp: No such file or directory

This can be caused by an active console call.

To resolve, enter:

console hangup
